A Teacher from U.O.T. Participates in a Developing Course for officials of the Ministerial Scout Activities Division

The teaching staff in Student Activities Dept. /the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mona Taha Idris, head of Scout Division, participated in the developing course for the officials of Scout activities division in public universities, universities, and private colleges in Iraq, which was set up by the Student Activities Dept. in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 Al-Kitaab University in Kirkuk as its host for the period from 14-18/11/2021 with the participation of representatives of more than 54 public and private universities.

The course aimed to develop the Scouts’ capabilities and provide them with the methods that contribute effectively to achieving the goal of the Scout progress, in addition to attracting new members to engage in the field of lead qualification. The course curriculum included many theoretical lectures and practical applications in the scouting field, as well as several developmental sessions, including the global policy for youth participation, the Arab scout curriculum, and the importance of leadership and planning in the scouting movement and sustainable development for public service, building a bright future and preserving the environment.
